At Biztory we strongly discourage potential customers to do a Proof of Concept with us. Don't get us wrong, we like doing them, we're not afraid of them but I don't believe that a PoC will provide you with all the answers.

In the global shift of more and more people wanting power and control of their data and the need to make faster decisions I believe that other factors come into play to make the right decision. In almost 75% of the cases for a POC any vendor, any integrator will do a seamless and perfect job delivering a very clean and nice looking situation. They'll go sit in a corner for x days and return to you with an amazing looking dashboard. Also in most cases, don't ask the tech guys too much info about the nuts & bolts because it's probably thrown together to make it sparkle in front and barely make it work in the back-end.

At Biztory we do things different. We love to prototype together with our customer. Dear customer, let's just sit down together. Have a look at your data, download the tool and our consultant will prototype together with you answering questions as you go. The goal is not to finish up at the end of the day with a perfectly tuned & sparkled dashboard, but to give you as a customer a clear understanding how this software works, how you can use it yourself and how we as an expert can support you.

We are living in the era of self-service analytics. Let's embrace it, also as an integrator. Stop selling perfect demo's, engage with your customer.

So what do you prefer? The POC? Or the Prototype?
